Piyush Purshottam Lalwani

Completed M.E.-Highway and Transportation Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU), Vadodara in 2021. He was a Temporary Lecturer at Polytechnic, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from July. 2021-July, 2022

Piyush completed his Masters Thesis as an Intern at CSIR-CRRI. His Master thesis was entitled "Effect of Free Left turning vehicles on Pedestrian Safety at Signalised Intersection", which focussed on evaluating the impact of free left turning vehicles on pedestrians crossing using Surrogate safety measures and simulating it using a microsimulation Software called VISSIM. He has received a Gold Medal from The Gujarat Institute of Civil Engineers and Architects (GICEA) for his Academic Excellence in Masters. He has done his B.E. from MSU in 2019 and Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) in 2016 from Tolani Foundation Gandhidham Polytechnic (TFGP). He has received a Gold Medal for securing first rank all over gujarat in DCE. 

His Research Interests include Pedestrian safety, Transportation Planning and Sustainable Development
