OBJECTIVE
To develop resources and expertise in the control of adverse health effects of road transport in as integrated a manner as possible and wide dissemination of this knowledge. This process involves:
(a) prevention of pollution or crash from taking place
(b) controlling the effects of emissions and minimizing injuries once people use motorized modes and crashes occur
(c) management of adverse health effects when they do occur
