Objective:

Transport Department of NCTD is keen to improve traffic safety and bus system in Delhi. TRIP Centre at IIT Delhi is proposing to work closely with the department and provide technical support for monitoring and implementing various ongoing activities related to traffic safety and route rationalisation and electrification of public transport system. Specific activities and expected out comes are listed below:

I Road Safety

TRIP C will provide technical support for the following three activities in the area of Road Safety.

I.1  - Road Safety Policy Implementation

I.2  - Safe School Zones

I.3 -  In use vehicle fleet characteristics
